Meet the Swearengins

We're so excited you are here and are considering us to capture your day. We are Junior and Morgan Swearengin (husband + wife wedding photographers + filmmakers) here in the Midwest. We are currently based in Kansas City but have traveled to weddings in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Ohio, Oklahoma, Virginia, and Colorado. We will always be up for experiencing a new part of the world with you so reach out about your travel destinations and let's chat!
When we moved back to the Kansas City area we realized that we have never felt more home! We were patiently waiting on His timing & know that God has been guiding us to where we are supposed to be at in this season of our life. We're so excited about being able to work together and serve you as a future client!
DID YOU KNOW?
Did you know that we've worked together before? Junior has a background as a petroleum engineer and Morgan has a background in interior design. We had the opportunity to work together for an entire year in the oil & gas industry & we loved being able to stay connected on an entirely new level working together, embracing new challenges while also living together. Everyone always asked us how we did it, but do you want to know our secret? It's simple! We are best friends, business partners, and are chasing goals together in life and truly believe that the other's heart is in the right place for where we both want to ultimately end up in life and with our business. Here we are, deep diving out on a leap of faith because we know that we were meant to plant roots here in Kansas City and we are so excited to meet and get to know you!
We're both from a small town where we met in junior high & have only one stop light in town. We both enjoy ice cream and trying new food and restaurants. I love ice cream so much that I included in my vows to promise to keep having ice cream dates long after our first anniversary passed. Junior's go-to flavor is cookies & cream & mine varies between plain chocolate and chocolate chip cookie dough. We love us a good cup of coffee, chips and salsa, tacos, pizza.
